VINYASA YOGA DESCRIPTION

Vinyasa class begins with light postures developing into stronger ones. Like a dance, the postures flow from one to another linking movement to breath. Consideration is given to counter-poses and modifications. This can be a very powerful class; however, the student sets the intensity. So, it is important that each individual know his/her limitations taking resting poses (child's pose/corpse) as needed. You can make this a relaxation class or a more powerful class. It depends on what each individual needs for their practice.
